Jersey History
Based in Sydney, Australia the Kingsford Mavericks are a foam dodgeball team established in 2020. Competing in the New South Wales dodgeball league the Mavericks are a team with a lot of talented players that are expected to be one of the top teams in the league and at nationals.
Anh Nguyen #3 who is represented on this shirt has played for 4 years, previously playing for Burwood Beavers and Mosman Minotaurs before joining his friends to form the Mavericks. Well known for his dirty throw and wearing glasses on court, Nguyen is also known for having represented Australia at the WDBF World championships in Cancun in 2019 as part of the mens team where the team finished 4th.
Produced by 2XU the current supplier of the Australian WDBF team, the jersey is supremely light weight and has a super flattering cut. Simple in design from a distance, a nice detail is the subtle pattern over the white of the shirt.
